The collaborative dissertation was a great experience which I would recommend to anyone considering it.

"The collaborative dissertation was a great experience which I would recommend to anyone considering it. Apart from the academic and research skills I gained, the overall journey helped my personal development. Having to work with people, building relationships and the privilege to be involved in work that positively impacts people’s lives was terrific, humbling and gave meaning to the work I was doing. Despite the hurdles that are common to undertaking any project, looking back to my journey, I am grateful for the provision, the support I got and the opportunity to have done a collaborative research. The experience impressed so much on me that I see my future career in community development inspired by the organisation I worked with, and all thanks to the Collaborative Research"

- Chenai Chikosi, MSc Global Health

"We very much appreciated the collaboration with our student. Having fresh eyes on our organisation and working together on what would be beneficial to both of us was a very positive experience. As a result, we have a report and academic research which gives us a creditable resource for funding applications and reporting."

- Ruth Forsyth, Community Development Director, Finn's Place
