Science Readmission

If you have previously been in attendance on a Science degree at the University and have now withdrawn, you may be eligible to apply for readmission to that degree.

This relates only to degrees offered by the following Schools

  1. School of Chemistry
  2. School of Computing Science
  3. School of Geographical & Earth Science
  4. School of Mathematics & Statistics
  5. School of Physics & Astronomy

Students who have previously been discontinued from their studies by a Science Progress Committee are not eligible for readmission via the College. They can however reapply via UCAS.

Duration of Studies

Please note that all degrees are subject to a maximum number of sessions and must be completed within this limit. The number of sessions is counted from the point of your first registration. This includes

  • Any non-registered sessions
  • Any sessions taken as an Interruption of Studies
  • Any repeat years

If readmission would mean that you exceed the maximum duration allowed for your degree, your application will not be successful.
