Know Before You Go

Additional Support

Disability Services 

Our friendly Disability Services advisers are here to welcome you and give advice. You can find them at the Check-in Point located at the Main Gates.

Quieter Hour 

There will be a designated 'Quieter Hour' between 2pm and 3pm for visitors who prefer a less busy environment, to visit our academic and service stands. The amount of traffic and noise levels will be at a minimum during this time within our indoor venues. 

McIntyre Building Room 208 will also be open all day (9am – 4pm) if you are looking for a quiet area away from the crowds.

Student Support Officers 

Based across the four Colleges of the University, our team of Student Support Officers provide information, advice, and guidance in relation to our students' wellbeing and their studies. We look forward to meeting with you in Hunter Halls.

AccessAble  

Advisers from AccessAble will be on-campus to give you advice about accessibility at UofG and around the city of Glasgow! You can find them in McIntyre Building Room 201.

Additionally, our online AccessAble Guides provide a description of the physical access features of over 100 university services and buildings across all three of our campuses.

If that's you, come chat with us to understand career options for the degree you're considering, learn how we can support you when you're here and feel confident that your intended course has employability built into its core so that you can reach your fullest potential.
