Dr Tunbosun Oyedokun

Biography

Dr Tunbosun Oyedokun joined University of Glasgow in 2017 as a Lecturer in Real Estate. He obtained his BTech and MTech degrees in Estate Management from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Nigeria and PhD from the Urban Institute, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, as a recipient of the prestigious James Watt Scholarship. His doctoral research focused on the impact of sustainability on commercial real estate market, but more broadly, his research interests also include occupancy and investment performance of commercial buildings; the role of commercial properties in urban sustainability agenda; property valuation practice and methodologies; real property development process and urban property market dynamics. He is also interested in health and well-being impact of office spaces and its influence on the financial performance and renting decisions of corporate occupiers.

Before joining University of Glasgow, Tunbosun worked as a tutor in real estate at the Urban Institute, Heriot-Watt University and as a lecturer in the Department of Estate Management, FUTA. He is currently the director of MSc Real Estate and MSc International Real Estate Management programmes.
