Biography
Dr Tunbosun Oyedokun is a Lecturer in Real Estate in the Division of Urban Studies & Social Policy, within the School of Social and Political Sciences. He holds a PhD in Real Estate from the Urban Institute at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, and previously earned both an MTech and a BTech in Estate Management from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria.
Committed to academic excellence and innovative teaching, Dr Tunbosun Oyedokun also holds a Postgraduate Certificate and an MEd in Academic Practice. He is a University of Glasgow Recognising Excellence in Teaching (RET) Fellow and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is an member of the European Real Estate Society, contributing to scholarly conversations at the intersection of real estate, urban development and sustainability.
Dr Tunbosun Oyedokun teaches on the MSc Real Estate and City Planning & Real Estate Development programmes, serving as the course convenor for Real Estate Markets, Sustainable Real Estate, Strategic Real Estate Management and Development Appraisal for Real Estate Surveyors. His teaching is research-led with an emphasis on active learning and a strong focus on the practical dimensions of real estate markets and urban development.
In addition to his teaching and research, Dr Tunbosun Oyedokun serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Real Estate Literature and International Journal of Sustainable Development Research.
