Dr Jim Phillips contributed to BBC Two Scotland's programme about the events building up to the 1979 Scottish Devolution Referendum.
'Scotland's Conspiracy Files' (broadcast 9pm, Wednesday 2nd December 2009 on BBC Two Scotland) explores the politics and controversies of the 1970s. Dr Jim Phillips was interviewed for the programme, which discusses the UCS work-in, the impact of North Sea Oil, and the devolution campaign and referendum of 1979.
Dr Phillips is also the author of a recent study of the period: The Industrial Politics of Devolution.
