Central and East European Studies welcomes applications from interested Visiting Fellows with external sources of income.
Visiting Fellows will be able to discuss research and where appropriate develop collaborative projects and links with CEES staff. They are also normally asked to present a research seminar papers which will be advertised throughout the College of Social Science, and may be invited to deliver a masterclass on some aspect of research methodology to CEES postgraduate students.
Office space, subject to availability, and access to the excellent collections held within the University Library will be provided.
Dalglish Visiting Fellowship for Russian Scholars
The annual Dalglish Visiting Fellowship is jointly administered with the REGION Research Centre, Ulyanovsk State University. The fellowship is open to early career researchers living and working within the Russian Federation.
Dalglish Fellows spend a month in Glasgow, normally in April/May. Funding covers travel costs, accommodation and a small daily allowance for living costs in Glasgow. Office space within either CEES or the Adam Smith Research Foundation, and access to the excellent collections held within the University Library are also provided.
Dalglish Fellows are asked to present a research seminar paper, which will be advertised throughout the Adam Smith Research Foundation, and to offer a master class on some aspect of research methodology to CEES postgraduate students.
