Glasgow Dental School has entered into a partnership with the Dental School of the International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia, to accept students into the third year of the Glasgow BDS programme after they have successfully completed three years of study in Kuala Lumpur. This 3+3 model has been used very successfully in Medicine and the Undergraduate Medical School in Glasgow has been an IMU Medical Partner for many years.

Professor Jeremy Bagg, Head of the Dental School and Professor Alan Jardine, Head of the School of Medicine, both attended the 26th Meeting of the IMU Academic Council in Kuala Lumpur on 20 and 21 April 2015, and enjoyed a very positive reception from students interested in completing their studies in Glasgow. We look forward to a very fruitful collaboration.
