Lecturer in International Law (LTS)

Job Purpose: To contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by contributing to teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and undertake administration and service activities for International Law in line with the School/College’s strategic objectives. For appointment at Grade 8, a substantial contribution will include delivering, organising and reviewing these processes in line with the School strategic objectives.

The salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 7/8, £ 36,382 - £40,927 / £44,706 - £51,799 per annum.

This post is full time (35 hrs per week) and to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months or until the substantive postholder returns, with starting date 1st September 2022.

Lecturer in Competition Law

Job Purpose: To undertake research of international excellence and contribute to knowledge exchange activities relative to the discipline, contribute to learning and teaching on agreed programmes and undertake administration and service activities in line with the School/College’s strategic objectives. For appointment at Grade 8, a substantial contribution will include leading high quality research activities and delivering, organising and reviewing key areas of teaching and learning within the School.

The salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 7/8, £36,382 - £40,927 / £44,706 – £51,799 per annum.

Senior Lecturer/Professor in Competition Law

Job Purpose: To take a senior leadership role by conducting internationally-leading research, delivering research-led education and demonstrating excellence in teaching that supports the strategic objectives and priorities of the School/College in line with the University’s ambitions, and makes a substantial contribution to enhancing teaching and research within the School/College. To undertake substantial responsibilities associated with managing external stakeholder relationships that enhance the University’s reputation, advance knowledge exchange, public understanding and outreach and strengthen links with professional bodies.

The salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 9, £53,348 – £60,022 per annum for the Senior Lecturer post. For the role of Professor, the salary (Grade 10) will be within the Professorial range and subject to negotiation.
