Biography
Elaine first joined the School of Law as an undergraduate in 2008 having completed a Higher National Diploma in Legal Services at City of Glasgow College. During the LLB, she developed interests in criminal law and mental health law. Her PhD, which concerns Scotland’s approach to the preventive detention of ‘dangerous’ offenders, combines these interests.
