This week, colleagues from GO Justice and the wider University of Glasgow School of Law had the pleasure of attending the 2026 European Network for Clinical Legal Education Conference at the University of Edinburgh. This conference presented a fantastic opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share our work on a global stage.

We were proud to contribute across several sessions:

On Monday 15th

Professor Jacqueline Kinghan presented on her recently published textbook Clinical Legal Education: Theory and Practice (co-authored with Lucy Yeatman and Amir Paz-Fuchs).

Nicole Marshall and Professor David Boag (Deputy Director of Diploma) shared insights from the Diploma Lawyering for Children Project.


Fiona McPhail and Professor Jen Ang introduced two exciting new GO Justice Law Clinics - Housing & Homelessness Law Clinic & Lawyering For Social Change: Racial Justice Law clinic.

On Tuesday 16th

The Emma Ritch Law Clinic team - Eamon P. H. Keane, Professor Jacqueline Kinghan, Nicole Marshall, and four of our outstanding students (Pixie Murray, Madeline Campbell Cara Collin and Georgia McCarthy) delivered a powerful presentation on access to justice for complainers in cases of sexual violence.

It was inspiring to engage with colleagues from across the world, exchange ideas, and build new connections and we’re really excited to see how these conversations develop into future collaborations.
