A research article involving the Centre for Virus Research's Dr Antonia Ho has been named as Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B's most-cited of 2021.

A research article involving the Centre for Virus Research's Dr Antonia Ho has been named as Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B's most-cited of 2021.

Royal Society Publishing states that recognising, publishing, and promoting excellence in science are part of their core values as a not-for-profit society publisher.

To celebrate brilliant science and the researchers behind it, they have this week shared the top-cited article from each journal in 2021.

Published on 31 May 2021, Dr Ho's 'Novel coronavirus 2019-nCoV (COVID-19): early estimation of epidemiological parameters and epidemic size estimates' was revealed as the most attributed for the year.

Dr Ho tweeted: "Delighted that our paper was #PhilTransB's top-cited article of 2021!"
