Tetanus

Members of the Department are responsible for ensuring that their personal anti-tetanus status is adequate. This is particularly important for those working with animals. Immunisation should be arranged via the staff member's own GP.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B inoculatons are offered, without compulsion, to those whose work involves samples of human tissue or primary human cells which might carry this disease. Supervisors should make arrangements through the University health Service.
