The MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit's Maternal and Child Health Network (MatCHNet) has published three new policy briefings and a data briefing that are now available online.

The briefings aim to compare early years policy variations across the four UK nations to highlight key differences in provision.

They provide examples of how administrative data can be used to describe and understand child and maternal health and/or evaluate the impacts of policies.

The first data briefing explores what we can learn about child health inequalities with data linkage.
