EDI Committee
Our EDI committee is currently comprised of 19 people across post-graduate, post-doctorate, professional, technical and academic job families who help us ensure that we have a well-rounded view of how common gender and intersectional issues impact different staff groups and career stages.

GES Self-Assessment Team
In 2023, an Athena Swan Task and Finish Group was established to oversee the Athena Swan Silver Renewal Application. Professor Larissa Naylor was chair alongside Dr Kate Botterill and Dr James Todd as co-chairs. The chairs were supported by a large team within and beyond the school. This team was diverse in terms of job families, research groups, genders, contract type and included staff with caring responsibilities:
