Biography
Dr. Syed Tariq Shah is a highly accomplished academic and research professional with a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He received his Master's and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University in Suwon, South Korea, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Currently, he is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Glasgow in the UK and also serving as an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, BUITEMS, Pakistan. His research interests include 5G and beyond networks, Open RAN, AI-enabled wireless networks, RF energy harvesting, and Intelligent reflecting surfaces. Dr. Shah is also an Editor of the Electronics Journal and a reviewer of several IEEE Transactions, Letters, and Magazines.
