Biography

I am a specialist in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) with over 30 years of English language teaching experience. I have a Masters in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham, UK. I have taught in various settings, roles and countries: I have taught general English to young learners and adults, and EAP to pre-sessional and in-sessional students; I have also taught on teacher education courses (MSc TESOL) and have been a CELTA tutor (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults); I have taught in Greece, Zimbabwe, Thailand, Bahrain, Oman and the UK. I am currently working on the transnational education programme with Glasgow College, UESTC, creating bespoke teaching materials and assessments for the English language courses delivered in the first two years of the engineering degree programme.
