Research interests

Biography

Dr. Faisal Tariq received his B.Sc.(Hons) from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh and M.Sc. from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He received his PhD from The Open University, UK. He is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering at University of Glasgow. Prior to this, he also held academic and visiting research positions at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), University of Bedfordshire, Aalborg University and National Institute of Informatics (NII). His main research interests include radio resource management, 5G and beyond wireless networks and molecular communications for nano-networks. He is actively involved in authoring and reviewing journal papers and in organising several international conferences. He is the recipient of best paper award at Wireless Personal Multimedia Conference (WPMC) in 2013. He is currently serving in the editorial board of Elsevier Journal of Network and Computer Applications.
