The formal processes of British and Chinese universities are different, and you are exposed to both cultures in Glasgow College Chengdu, UESTC and Glasgow Hainan College, UESTC.The formal processes and regulations, governing academic aspects of the common courses within the Joint Programmes, follow the University of Glasgow model. Below you can find links to some of the University of Glasgow policies you should know.
You are expected to read and refer to the 2022-23 Student Handbook which is intended to answer many of the day-to-day questions of students and to act as a pointer towards useful resources, should you encounter any issues. It explains the rules of UofG and the Joint Programmes, which follow British and Scottish traditions, while the UESTC handbook explains their rules.
