PGDE Registration and Enrolment
This information is for students who will be joining the PGDE Programme.
The first step to becoming a student at the University of Glasgow is completion of Registration. Full information on this process is available on our Registry Webpages

Enrolment on courses
All courses are mandatory and you will have to enrol on the following courses when Registration has been completed:
- Professional Enquiry (EDUC5082)
- School Experience (EDUC4014)
- Understanding Learning and Teaching (EDUC5328)
If you are a PGDE Primary student you will also have to enrol on Learning and Teaching in the Primary Curriculum (EDUC5128)
If you are a PGDE Secondary student you will also have to enrol on Learning and Teaching in the Secondary Curriculum (EDUC5129)
If you intend to teach in a Catholic school, you must be eligible for approval by the Catholic Church and have completed and returned the Priest Reference Form. If you intend to complete this Certificate, you will also have to enrol on EDUC5016.
