PGDE Registration and Enrolment

This information is for students who will be joining the PGDE Programme.  

Registration:

The first step to becoming a student at the University of Glasgow is completion of Registration.  You will receive an Access to your Student Account email which will advise on how to register online through MyCampus which is the University’s student information system. Full information on this process is available on our Registry Webpages.  

Enrolment:

The PGDE programme has compulsory core courses which all students will be enrolled on.  Once you have completed academic and financial registration, the School of Education UG and ITE Team will automatically enrol you on the courses listed below. 

Please do not attempt to enrol on any of these compulsory core courses through 'My Requirements'.

  • Becoming a Teacher (EDUC51037)
  • Curriculum Pedagogies and Practice in Primary (EDUC5128) - Primary students only
  • Curriculum Pedagogies and Practice in Secondary (EDUC5129) - Secondary students only
  • Research and Enquiry-Led Learning and Teaching (EDUC51038)
  • PGDE School Experience (EDUC4014)
  • Applied Catholic Theory (EDUC5016) - Students intending to teach in Catholic Schools only
