Small Bids Funding on Improving Mathematics Education of ITE Students

Dr Cristina Mio, Dr Ismail O. Zembat and Susie Marshall (maths teaching team) have been awarded the sum of £3,000 from UofG School of Education Small Bids funding.
Dr Cristina Mio, Dr Ismail Zembat and Susie Marshall (maths teaching team) have been awarded the sum of £3,000 from UofG School of Education Small Bids funding.
The purpose of the project is to enhance our ITE students’ experience and knowledge of Maths pedagogy through providing the student teachers with the opportunity to use Mathematics manipulatives so that they can experience how pupils learn, investigate novel ways of engaging pupils, and discuss and share their ideas with their fellow students and the lecturer.
