Participation at the 31st International Scientific Conference

Leonard Franchi, Julie Harvie, Father Stephen Reilly and Mary Lappin were involved in the 31st International Scientific Conference of ACISE hosted by the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa (Porto) from 8th-9th April. The theme of the conference was “Integral education in the digital age”.

Leonard Franchi, Julie Harvie, Father Stephen Reilly and Mary Lappin were involved in the 31st International Scientific Conference of ACISE hosted by the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa (Porto) from 8-9 April 2021. The theme of the conference was “Integral education in the digital age”.

  • Leonard Franchi presided at the first plenary session. 
  • Julie Harvie presented her paper on “Interdisciplinary, Learning, Education, Skills” under sub-theme B: Memory and Memorisation. It will be published along with the other proceedings of the conference.
  • Father Stephen Reilly presented a paper written by him and Mary Lappin: “Formation of the Heart: Memory, liturgy and the identity of Catholic student teachers” under sub-theme B: Memory and Memorisation. It will be published along with the other proceedings of the conference.
