Education Systems, Curriculum and Policy (ESCP)
ESCP examines how education systems are designed, governed and reformed, particularly in early years and compulsory education. The group’s work spans educational leadership and management, curriculum, assessment, policy design, governance and system-level change, drawing on comparative, historical and empirical perspectives. Research in ESCP engages with national and international debates on quality, coherence, accountability and the public purposes of education.
