NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BURN NIGHT 2018

Friday 27 January 2019
7 - 10pm
Hunterian Museum

The Hunterian Museum in the University of Glasgow has always proved a popular location for tourists, professionals, and the curious alike. The Museum is not only renowned for being Scotland's oldest public museum (1807). The world class collections tell many stories to many people, and as such the Museum holds regular 'Night at the Museum' events to showcase the collections and celebrate shared interests and causes. The Centre for Robert Burns Studies enjoys an excellent relationship with the museum, who help us promote our new research into Robert Burns.

Following on from the huge success of our last Burns Night at the Museum in 2017, colleagues and friends of the Centre will be on hand for this year's event, taking place on Friday 26 January 2018, 7-10pm at the Hunterian.

It's a great opportunity to catch up on all things Burns, from the progress of our Oxford University Press Edition of Burns's works, to new and groundbreaking research that helps us promote the bard.

Tickets for this free event can be obtained here.
