Metaphor in the Curriculum

Metaphor in the Curriculum was an AHRC-funded project which followed on from Mapping Metaphor‌ with the Historical Thesaurus. It was designed to create materials for use in secondary schools, to help pupils to understand metaphor while using the cutting-edge research provided by the newly-created online Metaphor Map of English. The online Metaphor Map is available via this link.

The Metaphor in the Curriculum project ran from April 2015 to June 2016 and outputs included a website, teaching materials and an app for Android and iOS. Our schools website is available via this link, with the app available in the Google Play store and the App Store.

See our blog and Twitter feed for news, events and information.
