Commissioning Creativity and Funding Films Workshops (2016-17)

Commissioning Creativity and Funding Film is a series of three international workshops that investigate and discuss the common digital, economic and global challenges that face the screen industries in smaller Northern European countries today. The idea behind the workshops is to bring together twelve screen funders, commissioners and academics from Scotland, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden in order to share knowledge about the possibilities and problems posed by digital production and distribution, and exchange experiences of ‘best practice’ within screen funding in an increasingly global and corporate mediascape.

Commissioning Creativity and Funding Film has received £9975 from The Royal Society of Edinburgh workshop grant.
