Dr Ainara Larrondo Ureta holds a PhD in Journalism and a Master Degree in Contemporary History from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where she teaches in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree courses of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication.  She is the author and co-author of several books and articles on online journalism and multimedia convergence, she also forms part of several research projects on these issues.  Her research topic focuses on 'News Production and Convergence in Public Service Media'.
