Sport has never been more uncertain of its importance, and its future. It plays a crucial role in a changing media sector, but is also a community asset in the fabric of society.

It is being ripped apart by different agendas, digital disruption, and changing audiences. Yet it has a governance structure utterly unsuited to deal with these existential threats.

In this interactive lecture Roger Mitchell reflects on the position of sport in the creative and media sector and argues that you can't solve a problem until you actually recognise it.
