Dr Georgios Angelis

Biography

Georgios joined Adam Smith Business School in January 2024. His primary interests lie in Macroeconomics drawing on Behavioral Economics and more recently Networks to go deeper in the foundations underlying macroeconomic models. In 2021 he received the Young Researcher Prize from the Banque de France Foundation. Georgios has completed a MSc in Operations Research as an Onassis Foundation Scolar and an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He holds a PhD in Economics from Brown University.
