"AI in Management Research: Tool and/or Topic"
Thursday, 19 June 2025. 12:00-13:30
Room 386AB, Adam Smith Business School Building
Abstract
In this seminar, I will explore the dual role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in management studies
both as a tool to support academic research and as a topic of investigation. First, I will
demonstrate how I use AI-powered tools to enhance various aspects of my research process,
including data analysis and literature synthesis. Then, I will shift focus to share insights from
my studies on how organisations adopt and implement AI technologies in real-world
management practices using one of my studies. By presenting both perspectives, this seminar
will offer a comprehensive view of how AI is shaping the field of management
methodologically and practically.
