2026 Schools Outreach Day

The Adam Smith Business School is delighted to host the 2026 Schools Outreach Day. On Monday 15th June 2026, the Economics department at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, will host a free schools outreach event designed to inform, inspire, and enthuse young people about Economics and, more broadly, about considering university study in the future.
The event will feature interactive sessions led by professional economists, alongside opportunities to meet University of Glasgow staff and students. The programme is most suitable for S4 and S5 pupils, though schools are welcome to bring a mix of year groups.
Draft schedule for the day
09:30 – 10:00 Arrival and registration
10:00 – 12:00 Morning programme – interactive sessions with professional economists
12:00 – 12:45 Lunch (provided by the University)
12:45 – 14.30 Afternoon programme – including short campus tour.
