Kenny Logue leads on external engagement at the Adam Smith Business School, working to bring real world business insight and experience into the student learning experience. His role spans a wide range of activity across the curriculum, from developing relationships with employers and industry partners to sourcing guest speakers, organising employer panels and coordinating live consultancy and industry projects.

With more than 20 years’ experience in business development and external engagement within higher education, Kenny has built a strong and trusted network across the business community. He has developed particularly close links with the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and its wider business network, creating opportunities for students and colleagues to engage directly with organisations across a range of sectors.

Kenny has also represented the Adam Smith Business School internationally, including as part of a trade delegation to New York and Pittsburgh. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen international business connections, explore opportunities for collaboration, and represent the Business School within a wider programme of engagement with industry and business organisations.

At Manchester Metropolitan University, where he worked with the Business School he developed extensive experience in business development, partnership working, and employer engagement. He also led on project management activity within the university’s Centre for Excellence, gaining valuable experience in managing complex projects, bringing together different stakeholders, and delivering initiatives from conception through to completion.

Kenny brings a creative and people focused approach to his work. His degree in Contemporary Theatre and Performance from Manchester Metropolitan University has shaped his approach to communication, relationship building and collaboration, alongside more than two decades of experience working across higher education and industry.

At the heart of Kenny’s work is a simple aim: to create meaningful connections between business and education that add genuine value for students, academic colleagues, and industry partners.
