GPPC's Peter Hanlon awarded MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship

Dr Peter Hanlon has been awarded a 3 year MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship to study the impact of frailty on chronic disease management

Photo of Peter HanlonDr Peter Hanlon, GP and Clinical Academic Fellow based in GPPC, has been awarded 3 years funding from the MRC to undertake a project assessing the prevalence and implications of frailty in chronic disease.

The project will focus on type 2 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and COPD. Peter will be supervised by Professor Frances Mair, Dr David McAllister and Professor Jim Lewsey.
