Welcome to the University of Glasgow's web-guide to EPSRC postgraduate research studentship funding. EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) is the main UK government agency for funding research and training in engineering and the physical sciences, investing more than £800 million a year across the UK in a broad range of subjects - from mathematics to materials science, and from information technology to structural engineering.

Studentships funded by EPSRC are available in the College of Science and Engineering and the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences.  The University also leads or is engaged in EPSRC funded Centres for Doctoral Training:
