Dr Rebecca Cleary has been awarded the Dr Alan Stirling Brown Prize for 2020 through the James Watt School of Engineering at the University of Glasgow

Our very own Dr Rebecca Cleary has been awarded the Dr Alan Stirling Brown Prize for 2020.

Founded in 2005 by Pamela and Gordon Cairns in the name of Pamela's father Dr Alan Stirling Brown, as acknowledgement of 35 years contribution to the University of Glasgow and in celebration of the honorary award of doctor of the University in 2001. Awarded annually in recognition of the outstanding research by a postgraduate student in the School of Engineering.

This is a prestigious award within the school, with the final decision on the winner made by the James Watt School of Engineering Prize Committee along with Pamela Cairns, Dr Alan Stirling Brown’s daughter.

Congratulations, Rebecca!
