Professor Lorna Paul

Lorna has been a Chartered Physiotherapist for thirty years.  After graduating she worked as a clinical physiotherapist for a few years before taking up a Lecturing post at Glasgow Caledonian University. After 13years she moved to the University of Glasgow as a Reader in Rehabilitation and returned to GCU over four years ago as Professor of Allied Health Science. Between 1998 and 2001 she was one of the Physiotherapists and Team Manager for Great Britain Mens Wheelchair Basketball team

Lorna has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and particularly the use of technology to support the rehabilitation of people with long term conditions. She is co-founder of Giraffe Healthcare Community Interest Company (www.giraffehealth.com), an online platform for the remote delivery of physiotherapy and podiatry.
