InFrame: Sharing a Blueprint for Real World, Flexible Evaluation
Join the InFrame team for an interactive webinar exploring flexible and context‑responsive approaches to evaluating research culture projects. Drawing on experiences from a two‑year cross‑institutional collaboration, this session will share a practical blueprint for designing evaluation strategies that reflect the complexity, challenges, and opportunities of research culture work.
Date: Thursday 11 June 2026, Time: 10:00–11:00 BST
Through open and reflective discussion, the team will share key learning, including creative adaptations, core principles, and the realities of navigating evaluation in practice, while connecting this work to the wider landscape of research culture evaluation across the sector.
Participants will leave with practical tools, fresh perspectives, and greater confidence to approach evaluation with flexibility and creativity, alongside an opportunity to connect with others working in this space.
InFrame: From Insights to Action
We will be holding our end of project event (Monday, 27th of July) as we celebrate the achievements and impact of InFrame and showcase the outcomes of our CCF projects. This is more than an event; it’s a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come in transforming research culture and to recognise the incredible contributions of our community.
The event will:
-
Celebrate InFrame’s work and contributors
-
Launch the Collegial Research Leadership Framework
-
Showcase Culture Catalyst Fund projects
-
Share key insights and project outcomes
We will be sharing from the event inspiring insights, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to connect with colleagues who are shaping the future of research culture.
Inform. Connect. Celebrate.

SRTP Academy - Building Networks, Empowering Careers
At one of our InFrame team meetings, SRTP Academy Coordinator Tabea Gerlach shared an update on the Creating a Scottish Research Technicians’ Professional (SRTP) Academy project. The discussion underscored the power of collaboration across three institutions and the collective effort to overcome challenges.
Tabea said:
"Meeting the InFrame team showed how much dedication goes into supporting projects like ours. By sharing insights and challenges, we strengthen the partnership that drives the SRTP Academy forward."
InFrame Mentoring Programme

The InFrame Mentoring Programme has launched, supporting new and emerging leaders across CCF projects by connecting team members with experienced mentors and professional allies. The programme is designed to strengthen collegial leadership, reflective learning, and professional development.
An orientation event on 18 November 2025 introduced participants to the programme, followed by mentor–mentee matching based on leadership style, lived experience, and personal goals. Mentoring conversations began in January, creating valuable opportunities for learning, connection, and support across institutions.
Mentoring is a key part of building strong research cultures, helping to boost confidence, collaboration, and psychological safety. Supported by The Coaching Catalysts, the programme will also inform the ongoing development of the InFrame Framework for Collegial Research Leadership.
Why Mentoring Matters
Mentoring boosts job satisfaction, career success, and research impact. It strengthens collaborative leadership and psychological safety, while recognising and developing mentors.
Programme Goals
- Grow Collegial Leadership: explore teamwork, collaboration, and leadership styles.
- Support Professional Growth: achieve project goals through personalised mentoring.
- Expand Networks: build connections across institutions and disciplines.
- Foster a Mentoring Culture: encourage future participation and leadership confidence.
- Recognise Mentors: provide honoraria and development opportunities.
- Improve Continuously: use feedback to shape the InFrame Framework for Collegial Research Leadership.
