Research Summary

Biography

Yushi Liu received his B.Eng degree in Electronic Information Engineering and B.Eng (Honours) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, and from the University of Glasgow, UK, respectively, in 2017, and received his M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, Massachusetts, US, in 2019. From 2019 to 2020, he was appointed as a research and development engineer at the Institute of Deep-sea Science and Engineering, the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. Bo Liu of the AI-Driven Design Lab, University of Glasgow, UK. His research interests include machine learning, engineering optimization, and AI-driven engineering design.
