Research Summary
Digital algorithms are changing how we work by augmenting our capabilities, re-coding our subjectivity and setting new epistemological boundaries. Hakan's doctoral research focuses on value creation in algorithmic world. His work adopts a critical socio-technical stance that rejects both the technological determinism and constructivism. He aims to share and exchange knowledge, focusing on interdisciplinary collaborations that address critical social perspectives on algorithmic technologies and the challenges of algorithmic futures.

Additional Information
Hakan is a PhD Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Adam Smith Business School. Before joining the University of Glasgow, he worked as a Research Assistant at Özyeğin University. He holds an MSc in Science and Technology Policy Studies from the Middle East Technical University. He combines his interests in innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship to better understand how digital innovations affect the way we work and organize.
