In a first for Glasgow, Dr Susan Stuart, a senior lecturer in the Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute (HATII), found her lectures on Kant's Epistemology to be the most popular education and higher education podcast on iTunes, ahead of Edinburgh and Berkeley.

Dr Stuart's lecture is also number 32 in the overall top 100 podcasts for 2006 on the iTunes site.

The first lecturer at the University of Glasgow to claim the number one spot in the digital download giant's education chart, Dr Stuart said of her success: "If I had to put it down to one thing it would be passion. I'm very passionate about Kant."

The University presented Dr Stuart with a Teaching Excellence Award in the summer, in recognition of her teaching achievements.
