The University is hosting an Interfaith Gathering on Sunday 2 October, in the University Memorial Chapel

The Interfaith Gathering will take place at 11am in the Bute Hall on Sunday 2 October.

There will be representatives from the Ba H'ai, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh faith communities and the Humanist Society of Scotland. All have been asked to speak for 2/3 minutes on their community view on higher education/university.

As our guest speaker, the Lord Provost of Glasgow will speak for 10-15 minutes on the Glasgow civic/University of Glasgow relationship which stretches back to the foundation of the University in 1451. The Chapel Choir will also sing.

The daily 10 Minute Service has also begun again at 08.45 -08.55 am in the Chapel, Monday to Friday. This follows the Daily Service held in Iona Abbey at the same time. It is proving especially popular during exam time!
