The Hardship Fund is the emergency fund for students experiencing unforeseen short-term financial difficulty.

Our focus is to assist students who are in immediate unexpected hardship and not in anticipated hardship. Full information on eligibility criteria and the fund guidelines can be found on our webpages.

The UofG Hardship Fund remains open and able to assist students in financial hardship over the summer period, thanks in part to extra funding provided by the Scottish Government.  Additional support will be available in academic session 21/22 and funds to assist with living costs will be launched in September by the Registry Financial Aid Team.

The fund is urging students to apply for financial support if they are struggling to meet accommodation and other costs
