Technician Commitment Co-ordinator Appointed

Ali Salik has been appointed as the University's Technician Commitment Co-ordinator.

Dear Colleagues,

 

As you will be aware we recently advertised for the role of Technician Commitment Co-ordinator. 

 

Following a recruitment process we have asked Ali Salik, Technician in Geographical and Earth Sciences, to take on the role and thank the management in the College of Science and Engineering for supporting him.

 

We were heartened by the high quality of applicants who clearly demonstrated their ideas, passion and obvious enthusiasm for taking forward Technicians Commitment activities and adding value to the process. 

 

Ali will be spending 1 day a week in his new role and will report to the Technician Commitment Steering Committee. You will have noted that his first engagement event is the Q+A session for the technical community that will be online Monday 3rdAugust at 12.00pm, which I would encourage you to join. I am sure Ali will be a visible presence and I hope you will support him and join me in wishing him well in his new role.
