This is an opportunity to create real change, connect with peers, and impact how student voices are heard across the university.

Q: What is Student Voice?

All the ways through which students provide feedback and perspectives to the university.

It encompasses the various formal and informal ways students communicate their opinions, experiences, and suggestions to improve university services and policies.

Q: What is the Student Voice Advisory Panel?

A representative panel of 16 students to enhance student voice mechanisms at the university.

It'll will bring together students from different years of study (from first-year undergraduates to postgraduate researchers), various academic disciplines, and variety of backgrounds to share their.

What would I do on the panel?

  • Evaluate and improve existing feedback systems
  • Share your views on new ways to gather meaningful input from students
  • Analyse how student-suggested changes have been acted on
  • Create opportunities for communication between university leadership and students
  • Ensure diverse representation

The panel will be invited to participate in 4-6 meetings a year.

Panel discussions will be student-led and focus on key themes, e.g. assessment forms and overall student experience.

This'll be an open environment where diverse perspectives can be shared freely.
