Development for Research Leaders
Development for Research Leaders
Research Leadership encompasses both being a leading researcher in your field, and being a leader of other people, researchers, teams, participants, communities and collaborators. It comprises, for example, the PI, Co-I, Line Manager, and PGR Supervisor roles.
The University of Glasgow offers a wide range of opportunities including resources, events, webinars, workshops, mentoring, communities, and leadership development programmes to develop good leadership practices.
We aim to support you to reflect on your needs and ambitions, navigate the ecology of development available to you at UofG, and have agency to make informed and active choices about your professional and career development.
The broad remit of our provision can be seen below, at a glance. Click into the sections to find details. Opportunities branching from here are led by the Research Culture and Researcher Development Team. Additional training and support may be offered by your College, School, Funder, or professional society.
