University Regulations 2026-27
University Regulations are the official source of information on academic requirements at the University of Glasgow, including degree requirements, fees, assessment and student conduct.
- General regulations - these apply to all students and cover matters such as assessment, fees, progression, conduct and appeals.
- Degree regulations - these contain requirements specific to your type of degree programme.
Students studying at Edinburgh Theological Seminary, The Glasgow School of Art or SRUC should refer to the relevant validated institution regulations.
Important: Always use the current year's General Regulations. For Degree Regulations, refer to the version that applied when you entered your programme. If you are studying on an Honours or Integrated Master's programme, use the version that applied when you entered Honours or the Integrated Master's years.
Please Note: PhD Guidance Notes for students, which were previously available within the online University Regulations, have now been incorporated into the PGR Code of Practice.
