The University was saddened to learn of the passing of Professor David R Green on 12 October 2022, aged 80.
Professor Green was Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, 1994 to 1996, Professor of Structural Engineering from 1995 to 2001, and Vice-Principal with responsibility for the University estate and the physical sciences from 1997 to 2001. He was Dean of Faculties from 2003 until 2007.
A celebration of David's life will be hosted by the family at 11:00 on 4 November at One A The Square, University of Glasgow. All University friends and colleagues are welcome.
