PGRs are invited to present their theses in the 2022 academic competition
Join us for the Visualise Your Thesis Awards Ceremony on 11th August at 3.30pm!
Visualise Your Thesis is an academic competition for graduate researchers, challenging them to present their projects in a 60-second video aimed at a non-specialist audience. The competition provides PGRs with an opportunity to build and apply skills including effective communication, digital literacy, and visual storytelling, as well as developing a “visual elevator pitch” for their research.
The 2022 Awards Ceremony will see 16 researchers from across the University have their entries featured on the big screen at our city’s most iconic cinema, the Glasgow Film Theatre. A panel of expert judges – including a science communications expert, a BAFTA nominated director and a producer from BBC the Social – will decide on our 2022 winner and runner-up, but our audience will also have the power to vote for their favourite video and determine the recipient of the People’s Choice Award.
