The inaugural Glasgow Gladiators Varsity Rugby match will take place between the University of Glasgow and rivals The University of Strathclyde on Thursday 15 September.

Thursday 15/09/2016, 2pm kick off at Garscube Sports Complex

The inaugural Glasgow Gladiators Varsity Rugby match will take place between the University of Glasgow and rivals The University of Strathclyde on Thursday 15/09 at Garscube Sports Complex. The aim is to showcase the high standard of student rugby in Glasgow.

Student rugby in the city has been continually growing over the last 3 years and this event will highlight the size of both clubs, along with their impact on the student experience within both institutions. Both Glasgow and Strathclyde have representative players within their squads and the game itself will be a physical and closely fought match between two ambitious university sports clubs. Kick off is 2pm and the event is FREE and open to all members of the public.
